This lady is hard at work. I always wanted to do a rug of a woman ironing..and I played with a lot of different sketches before I got one I liked. The background is a little dark..matches her mood I think..she doesn’t particularily like to iron.
I had time to put some drawings onto the burlap today…and this is the hardest part of the whole process for me. It feels like I am almost holding my breath while I am drawing..hoping I can make it look somewhat like the small sketches I make…ahhh, got it done.
