I took this of myself in the bathroom this morning…why? I have no idea.
Here is pic from 2010 Festival.Just finishing my last little rug and I ‘ll be all set for the Festival. EXCITED! I have been preparing for this since January, so it is a very big deal. Nervous? Yes! But mostly very excited.
I lined up a bunch of small rugs that I have tagged and ready for the Folk Art Festival on the kitchen table.. and took a pic. It makes a neat mosaic! ONE MORE WEEK TILL FOLK ART FESTIVAL….AHHHHHHHHH! SO EXCITED!!!!
All rugs are tagged and ready…then I got an urge to do one more, another crow. ..a chubby crow this time, very unlike the the skinny dejected crow. Stay tuned for pics!
I ‘ll be attending the opening Aug 2, 2012 in Halifax, so please come out and we will have a chat.
I am spending the afternoon putting tags on the rugs for the Festival..which is quite relaxing! I am listening to the soundtrack from “The Piano” and it is a nice sunny day and all is well!
When I showed this piece to my husband he remarked “Oh, that poor man”. I said “Oh, you don’t know what he did”. “What?’ asked my husband. I said “Well, he lost his job, got drunk, slept with his wife’s best friend and kicked the dog, all on the same day.” “Ohhhhh”, replied my husband.
