When I showed this piece to my husband he remarked “Oh, that poor man”. I said “Oh, you don’t know what he did”. “What?’ asked my husband. I said “Well, he lost his job, got drunk, slept with his wife’s best friend and kicked the dog, all on the same day.” “Ohhhhh”, replied my husband.
I think I can have this finished by tomorrow..if my back holds up. I am very excited about it and can’t wait to complete! Another possible title is “Tow the Line or Hang on the Line”..hee hee hee.
Sooo, excited about this one. Both kids are in camp next week so I ‘ll have time to hook “Hanging him Out to Dry” and attach all the tags to the rugs for the NS Folk Art Festival. 3 MORE WEEKS!!!!!
I made this thinking I would put it up for auction at the NS Folk Art Festival..but I just drew a pic on burlap..and I think that one would be better. 3 MORE WEEKS TILL THE FESTIVAL. AGHHHHHHHHH! Deep breath Laura.
I had a wee bit of trouble as the baby’s head didn’t quite stand out from the Mom’s arm and my son said “It looks like she is holding a bouquet of flowers, Mom”. But I got it worked out in the end, and I am happy with it..and my son approves now as well..whew.
All of my fish have red eyes..why? I have no idea.This little guy is all ready for the NS Folk Art Festival.
This kitty was doing a bit of a different pose for me..and had my doubts about her BUT, I kept going and she turned out just fine. Meow! This kitty is going to the NS Folk Art Festival..not the SPCA…ha!…I am on a roll today.
