Can’t go Back
This started off as just a dress. I use to hook dresses when I first started hooking and I thought it would be fun to do one today. But as I hooked, I was like “This dress needs a person in it”. Ha! So, I guess it is true, you can’t go back.

“On the Cross”

Little Black Bird
I hooked this wee bird on Saturday…I challenged myself to do it as quickly as I could…and it took about 2 hours and it is about 6×9″. It was a neat exercise as you don’t have time to second guess …you just go for it!

Rugs to be Photographed
I am going to be having a collection of rugs photographed tomorrow by photographer Jody O’Brien. I was able to borrow some rugs from the buyer’s collections for this..so grateful! Friends
Just completed this..it was a real pleasure to hook. I usually get a little tense when hooking commissioned pieces as I worry and think “Is this what the buyer wants..will they like it??etc etc. But not with this one.
